What a great week we’ve had a ChristmasChange! Thank you Danielle, Billy, Ann, and Missy for incredible posts that explored the magic of memories, the effects and reasons for giving, and the power of artful creativity. The posts were inspiring and encouraging.
And while I am on the topic, on Monday Shawn Schwartzman gave us his family story of creative giving. Many of you have asked whether you could obtain a copy of his scavenger hunt list of personal questions. Unfortunately, Shawn thought he still had the lists, but alas (after much looking), it appears that the list is not to be found. So, as a compromise, we will be posting a new tab at the top called “Scavenger Hunt.” The tab will provide a place for us to create our own lists of personal questions to be used by those interested in creating a family Christmas scavenger hunt.
Also, this week, we will begin the family curriculum on the ChristmasChange Family page. It will be short and sweet, but will provide you with some brief scripture readings and creative projects to assist in leading your family to explore the story of the “wildly creative incarnational giver” (thanks Missy for that phrase). I hope you check it out. It should be up by Monday or Tuesday.
Finally, we have had many people writing their own ChristmasChange stories and posts. Because this is a community designed to share stories of incarnational giving, we want to hear from you. That being the case, we set up a way for you to share a link to your story of ChristmasChange. In center sidebar, we have a “McLinky” box where you can share the link to your story or blog post. Some have already linked up, and their stories are well worth reading. Share your story and encourage us in bringing change to this season.
Thanks again for being part of this community of changer. Continue to share your thoughts as we move further into the blessed story of ultimate incarnation!
